ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, gracefully styled
I bought this nightgown 4 or 5 years ago and continue to wear it., as it still looks new. Bought one last year and one last month. This 100% cotton, brushed flannel gown is the most comfortable winter nightgown that I have. It is warm, soft, and attractively styled. May I offer a suggestion to LL Bean. This gown would be beautiful in other colors beside the indigo and red. I recommend the same print with the following colors: butter yellow, lavender, apricot, light blue, tea rose.
I love this nightgown. I already had the blue one and I just bought the red one. They are alike except different colors. Very comfortable, warm on a cold night but not too hot even in warmer weather. Good quality fabric, soft and will last through many washings. I've had the blue one for more than a year and it's still in good shape, except a button fell off a while back. I will buy this item again when I need a nightgown.
As the reviews point out, think a size smaller than you are used to. The colors are not bright or sharp but they have a warmth about them. I like the pleats but it isn't really a becoming nightie. Still, I find it very comfortable and warm and I am happy to sleep in it for years to come.
After reading the reviews posted on this item, I decided to order both gowns...one in each color. They are so warm & comfy. I was worried about shrinkage but after washing on cold and drying on low heat they came out perfect! Absolutely very little shrinkage if any at all!
