Purchased this nightgown as a Birthday gift for my mother-she has 2 others and loves wearing them. The gown is warm without being too heavy, the stitching detail and fit are excellent. I had the gown gift wrapped as well, which was beautifully done and well worth the small extra expense. She was absolutely delighted with her beautiful gift.
Sizing perfect, feel is comfortable and soft, washing so far has not weakened, misshaped or discolored it. If I had to come up with a negative, I would have liked the flannel to have been thicker but it is certainly acceptable the way it is!
I love this nightgown !! It is warm and cozy (on a couple of occasions, too warm). I particularly like the long length down to my ankles and the long sleeves with full arm coverage so I don't get cold. I got the Barberry color and it's beautiful. I've washed it and lightly dried in dryer, then hung to finish drying; no shrinkage. I agree with another reviewer, there is alot of material and, if there was a negative, I have to be careful not to get my legs tangled in the material; not big enough of an issue to be concerned with. I am totally happy with it.
LL Bean is the only place I can find a nightgown that is actually ankle length. Most advertised "long" gowns are only mid-calf length. However, would prefer "made in America" not China.
