I knew what I wanted and have been looking for several years for that perfect night gown. I finally found it. I can't understand winter gowns that have long sleeves but come mid-calf. I like a top I can unbutton in case I get too warm. I need sleeves I can roll up to do dishes. Comfortable is a necessity. Beautiful would be a bonus. This gown has it all and more. I tried it on and went to order one for my daughter but they were sold out in her size. When restocked, I'll order one for her and another color for me. I am thrilled with this gown.
I have this nightgown in indigo. Next year I may buy it in the red, or another color. I love this nightgown. It's comfortable and stylish in a Victorian/Edwardian way. It has plenty of room for me to tuck my legs under when I'm sitting yet it does not bother me lying down. The only reason it's not five stars is the lack of brushing on the inside to make it cozier like the tartan flannel nightgown. Thus, I will wear the vintage gown when it's warmer and the tartan when it's colder.
This is the best nightgown I've ever had. It is so warm and cozy. It made me look forward to winter this year. I love the long button placket. Would be great for a nursing mother! I need to order another one and now it's only available in small. I hope that's only a temporary problem!!
