I was given this nightgown last year for Christmas and like it so much I am giving one as a gift this Christmas. It's long,warm, and cuddly. I now have to and they are what I wear all winter.
This is the perfect nightgown for cold winter nights. It is a very soft flannel that feels so snuggly & warm on. I'm always concerned about pilling with flannel but this has not pilled after several washings and the color, red, has held true. It has shrunk slightly but not enough to make a big difference.
I wanted a flannel nightgown for some time and was happy to find this one. I am 5'1" and ordered a medium petite which always works for me in LLBean clothes. When I put it on it was large under the arms and the pintucks were much too low for a petite. I even checked the size because it fits like a Reg size. I will keep it though because of the comfort and softness. Too bad the small petite is sold out already. I hope it will shrink for a better fit. If it does, I will order another. What about an X-Small-petite also? I may be 66 but I still like good style. I would love to get the gown for my three daughters. And please make one in green.
I bought this gown in red last year. I'm back this year for the blue. I couldn't be happier with this nightgown! It's sooo comfy! And the pintucks ensure enough extra fabric to make it super easy to roll around in the bed at night without getting tangled up. I like to sleep with a body pillow between my knees and with most gowns I have to hike it up around my waist so that the pillow will fit. That's not a problem with this gown. You won't be disappointed with this gown. Please make more colors so I can buy more!!
