I love my red Vintage Flannel gown. I live in it on my days off and you really can flip & flop in bed w/o getting twisted up. I have tried to think of something I don't like about it-here goes-I occasionally need to take it off to launder it.I especially like the deep placket front-I can put hot rollers in my hair and remove the gown with the rollers in-that is like the greatest thing in the world!Been wearing the same gown for a year now-except summertime in the South. You can answer the doorbell in this gown-just keep your pearls on!
I got the blue last year for myself for the holidays. I loved it so much, I ordered it again, in red. A year later they look and feel as they did the day I received them. In addition, my sister & her 2 now "away at college" daughters all have them, and have been envied by their roomies. My sister has also had friends admire hers. My husband loves it, too - so pretty and dainty. It is comfy in cold & summer. Soft, washes well and is the favorite of my "collection" of nighties. YOU CAN'T MISS WITH THIS ONE!
I normally hate nightgowns. They twist all around at night so you wake up in the morning feeling like a taco. Very uncomfortable. Last year, after trying tons of flannel pj's, womens and mens, I finally decided to try a nightgown. This one sparked my interest because the design and print looked elegant. No grandma florals, but lovely delicate pinstripes and pleats. I am under 30 and like to look attractive. I ordered a size small and this is an amazingly flattering gown AND super roomy, due to the pleats. It is the MOST comfortable, warmest thing I have ever slept in! I just sigh every time I put it on. I hope LL Bean never stops carrying this style, and while other colors would be nice (I have the indigo), I will continue buying it over the years in whatever color is available. (The indigo is lovely). May even buy another to store, just in case!
