I love this flannel nighgown. It actually goes all the way to floor (I'm 5' 3"). It might feel lightweight but it's cozy, comfy and warm. Where I live in northern NY, in the winter, temperatures can get to -30 below zero. So staying warm up north is a must. I ordered the blue about two years ago and I'm about to buy the same gown in red. It's a classic and worth every penny.
I just purchased this because I wanted something longer for the winter months. I normally wear the shorter ones. Despite a slight concern if I would like the older vintage style I instantly found it very cozy and have fallen in love with it. Its so comfortable sleeping in this! And the longer length is great for lounging around before bed. I was visiting my parents recently and I think my mother was a tad suprised to see me wearing this older vintage style. However, by the questions she was asking I think she was quite jealous!
I LOVE this gown. Last year I bought one in red and blue. I am hoping for a colder than usual winter this year so I can wear them more often. More colors please!
I'm a plus size lady and was concerned it would be like most other companies offerings and run small, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was so roomy. The sewing is neatly done and the old-fashioned styling is perfect for winter with all of the pleating over the chest for warmth. The flannel is better quality and more substantial than I've seen in similar garments from other places. I'm VERY happy with this gown!
