I love it! The only caution I have is the small buttons, which can be a challenge to arthritic hands. But it is warm, comfortable, well made and the size is on the mark. It is a joy to wear in the evening.

Comfort Plus

Love this nightdress except for the sizing which is huge! I am making do with the XL but wish I had ordered L. I am returning the M which I ordered for my daughter who will need S. Mailing is so expensive from Canada apart from the nuisance factor. Apart from that it is a wonderfully comfortable nightdress and a robe is not always necessary.

Welcome to Wuthering Heights

Like most men, I don't pay much attention to women's sleepwear. But when my girlfriend asked for a long nightgown, this caught my eye as far more attractive than the usual very plain PJs. The old-style stitching and tailoring are both livelier and softer than anything else I've seen. All she needs now is a candle to look like she stepped straight out of a Victorian novel. (The barberry color is very bright and warm, and not quite so olde-tyme as the white seems to be.) She LOVES it!
Kudos to LLBean for reviving another great traditional product.

Everyone should have one

This is a rare find. Soft texture, fluffy flannel. Full-length sleeves and full-length gown. Best of all, roomy (nobody wants to sleep in a cocoon). Most other flannel nightgowns on the market fall short in one or more of those categories.
The new Barberry Dobby color is a fun addition. Why not change it up with new colors every year? Consumers of all ages might like festive, traditional colors such as Red, Christmas Green, Safire Blue, and Pure White (no print).
