i'd been waiting for several years to order this lovely nightgown and was disappointed to discover that mine was definitely not brushed flannel. It was instead, a soft, light to medium weight woven fabric, which would be really insufficient for cold Colorado winters. It is beautifully sewn but this wasn't reason enough for me to keep it. It might be nice for a warmer climate. Pleeeease make this in Flannel!
I love the color and style of this nightgown but it is definitely NOT flannel. It is very thin. I have compared it to other flannel nightgowns I have bought from LL Bean and this one is not as warm.
Ordered the red one to wear Christmas morning, and now all winter. I love it! It's cozy and warm, yet light, and long enough to cover everything so I don't get cold. Washes up easily. I plan to order another in lavender when they are back in stock.
