...well, My wife, who is the proud recipient of this gift said, "It seems a little thinner than I thought" , but I comforted with " This wonderful detail in the bodice might be impossible to do with thicker flannel" : " do you like it ?" ... " Yes, very much." ...well she looks sexy in flannel and is WARM, that is not an easy task to succeed at. This Vintage Night-" Gown" is just what I wanted. Thanks L.L.Bean and thank you Jesus who drew my attention to this one thing in the catalog and it turns out was also the ONE thing My Wife wanted.
I love this nightgown! It is soft and very roomy which makes it so comfortable. I really wanted the lavender color but they were sold out. But I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the blue. It really is much prettier than the photos.
Note to LL Bean: I would dearly love the same nightie in lavender so if you ever get it again, I will buy it immediately!!!
