Bought 2 of these for my mother for Christmas so she would have something warm and cozy to snuggle in. She is 5'5" and the gown grazes her ankles, which she loves. We bought 2 since we couldn't tell about the colors on the screen, intending to let her choose and then return the other. She loves them so much she kept them both. Cream with navy detailing, and the red one is more pinkish - almost watermelon colored with white/cream detailing. Very soft and warm. She also mentioned they were nice and roomy.
Put away your ideas about flannel nightgowns. This one is comfy but beautiful, warm but not hot and it washes like a dream. I see a creative mind at work - the pin tucking uses the fabric pattern as a guide, so each tuck highlights the same part of the stripe. That makes a new pattern that perfectly blends with the existing one. Lovely.
