I gave this nightgown to an older friend who was having trouble finding something she liked as most nightwear is geared towards 20's or 30's somethings. She had taught sewing and I sew. We were awed by the construction of this garment. The button opening is long enough so that your hair isn't bothered when putting on the gown. The collar is just high enough and the bands on the sleeves help keep the cold air away from your arms. This gown is a winner!! My expectations of quality are always met with items from LL Bean.
