This gown is very pretty -- but in my opinion, it is not flannel, at least not as I'm used to flannel. It seemed more like a homespun fabric. I did not keep the item, as I want a really warm gown in my MN winter. But it is an attractive piece.
I know nightgowns, especially flannel, are not meant to be stylish. However, the way this nightgown was cut made it look like a maternity gown when I put it on. Maybe because I'm only 5'3", perhaps it would look better on someone taller. Thankfully, LLBean has a super convenient return policy so it's on its way back to Maine.
After years of constant wear, my last vintage nightgown finally began to fray at the cuffs. This time you offered lavender, so pretty. The high quality and generous roominess has stayed the same.
