Whenever I need anything flannel, I turn to LLBean and I'm never disappointed. This flannel nightgown, like LLBean sheets, is so soft and thick. Even after repeated washing, it doesn't get "pills" like cheaper flannel. Excellent product!
This is the perfect nightgown for me. I own 3. I just bought one as a gift for a sister. Without lace, ribbons, embroidery or other embellishments, this is the prettiest gown I've ever owned. It's all in this fabulous fabric. the pattern is delicate, charming, crisp and clean. I'm especially referring to the Dobby Indigo. I have 2! My 3rd is the pale blue. It's the Indigo I chose for the gift. I love the generosity of the cut. I love the pintucks. Th e gown is very comfortable, very warm. I did have to hem them up a bit. They have been through the wash several times and just get softer. Love it! Love it! Love it!
I am not usually a nightgown wearer, but I decided to try this one out. I nurse my toddler throughout the night and I wanted something I can nurse in that wouldn't leave my belly exposed when it's cold (in warmer weather I would just wear a PJ top and lift it up). This fits the bill quite well. The long placket works well for nursing. Material is soft and warm, too. I am tall, so I find the sleeves a bit short.
