I love this vintage nightgown. It is well made and the flannel fabric is soft and warm without being too thick. I will wear this nightgown often. I may buy another one in a different color, but love the cream and indigo one that I now have. The pleats across the top give the nightgown a gently fitted look that I love! Also it is long enough...I am 5 foot 6 inches and ordered Medium.
It's very comfortable, love the fabric with the pattern woven in, and not too long or short, would work for most heights. Best of all it looks good and I don't mind being seen by houseguests in the early morning!
There was a flaw in the material on the front of the gown, which looked like dirt but on closer inspection it was a darker thread (dying flaw). Should have been caught at inspection.
The gown fit in the shoulders and sleeves but the body of the gown was so large and looked odd as though it was made for a much heavier person. I am 5' 6" and weigh 148. I ordered the large because I was concerned that the sleeves be long enough and that it not be tight in the shoulder/sleeve area. But it blowsed out so much it looked out of proportion and not at all attractive for me.
