I have been wearing this LL Bean nightgown for years - I keep several in rotation and buy another as each one gets too flimsy or the sleeves get too short!
I like it for many reasons: there is NO Elastic (can't abide elastic at my wrists); the design with pin-tucked bodice is quite nice; the sleeves start out plenty long and don't shrink up for many many washings. Love the new lavender color, but all the colors are nice.
Great item and well worth the price since it is much higher quality flannel than what you typically get in department stores. I love the fact that it is long enough to cover your legs and keep them warm. So cozy to have on at night while watching tv or in the morning while drinking your coffee. I was so happy with it, I ordered a second one.
This nightgown is warm but not heavy, very comfortable and presentable enough to be able to wear at the breakfast table. The rosy colored one is very attractive. I have two colors now and on the next sale I will buy two more in the remaining colors. The gown is especially fitting during the chilly summer we just had, especially in the Northern climes.
