From October to April at our house, if you knock on the door after 6pm, you will find me in this nightgown. I come home from work, peel off the constricting layers and say "ahhhh" as I pop this over my head. LOVE this nightgown. I have the ivory, the pink (which I don't think they carry any more) and Two blues! As many reviewers have noted, having a gown that is LONG ENOUGH for my tall frame feels like such pampering! Is it flannel or isn't it? I just know it feels good, warm and soft. It is had room in all the places that other nightgowns have felt uncomfortable, yet it looks pretty and flattering, not dumpy. Please do not ever discontinue this gown.
I've had one of these nightgowns for a few years. This year I ordered the light blue and loved it so much I ordered a second. I'm 5'10" and the sleeves are just right on the blue nighties. On really cold nights, I wear my cotton thermals under the nightie and am toasty and comfortable.
I love this gown so much that I have two of them. It is warm, comfortable and beautifully made. The pin tucks are really pretty. It is roomy, nice and long and really soft. I am puzzled by those that say this is not flannel. It is vintage flannel as the title states. To me I like this soft vintage flannel better than the more common flannel. I love LL Bean sleepwear, so my gowns, robes and slippers are all wicked good LL Bean.
