My favorite item to sleep in!!! I have two of these and this my new favorite. I have washed and worn them many times. I will be buying more ! Thank you LL Bean!
So here in Alaska it has gotten cooler in late September and I am still sitting in this nightgown on a Sunday morning because it is so cozy and comfortable. I find this one to be one of the most comfortable, attractive and lovely nightgowns I have owned. The subtle design is pretty as is the pintucking. I liked it so much I purchased it both in the blue and also the pinkish one. I look forward to getting into this; it is very pretty. I am 5'4" and it is long for my height which I like; makes it cozier. I often wear medium sizing for LL Bean clothing. I find it runs a bit big and wish I had ordered it in a medium instead of a large but it works and I am not sending it/them back. So why not 5 stars? It is not a warm, soft flannel. In fact, it barely feels like flannel to the touch/feel. Still, it is a heavier material which works. It would be a 5 star hands down if it were the flannel I think of as flannel as not just my review stated but others, too. It is well-made, though, and lovely. Just would have preferred a real flannel feel. To emphasize the flannel concern: some of LL Bean flannel sheets are so cozy and soft and remain so after numerous washing. I love flannel not pseudo flannel in a nightgown. Enough said.
Poor quality fabric, atrocious colour. The fabric is not up to the standard of previous years, it is thin and not brushed for warmth and coziness. I am returning the item.
