This is not the fuzzy flannel that one would expect, but a more elegant weave that is not unlike fine linen with a very soft hand. The gown does not creep upward during sleep but it surrounds the legs and covers the arms so comfortably, that it does not require adjusting during the natural turns. The tucks in the front and back allow not only freedom but also the style is attractive on all figure types and it is modest enough that a robe cover is not necessary. I especially like the length which is a graceful cover just above the ankles. I must have one extra on hand that will be ready for travel.
I am now a nightgown wearer after a lifetime of not wearing them since childhood. I have never had a comfortable nightgown until finding these. And they are PRETTY in an old-fashioned kind of way, while not being as expensive as some of your competitors. I REALLY like two features 1) the flat cuffs on the sleeves that are not elasticized or ruffled; and 2) the collarless neckline, much nicer for someone like me with a short neck that can't stand collars of any kind. I will order all the colors in this nightgown and save some for when the ones I now am wearing, are not available.
I love my new flannel nightgown! It's very soft and comfortable. I like the weight of the fabric. You should wash it separately in cold water the first few times if you get the red one. It's very roomy ? not super flattering but has very nice details.
