Very nice piece of furniture. Well-made. Good-looking. I had no problems with shipping or packaging, but it took some time to assemble. And I put it together backwards, something you really don't know until it's almost finished. Better pictures on instructions would help.
The piece went together without a hitch. There were a couple of things that were just sloppy drilling of pilot holes but it all actually fit. The cleat at the back side of top was not straight but no one will see it. The directions show you get 12 wooden plugs (I think I got 16) but you need 20 as shown in the instructions.
The Mission Corner TV stand fits perfectly into the corner near our fireplace. The height was perfect for our new wide screen tv and allows for plenty of dvd storage underneat. The unit is well built and was easy to assemble. Good solid construction!
Overall, I am very impressed with this piece. It is solid, all wood (no composite board!), and very good quality. The assembly went reasonably well except when I was almost finished, I discovered that I had assembled it backwards! I thought this was going to be a problem, but I removed 4 pegs covering and the screws holding the base on and reversed it. There were even extra covering pegs provided to replace the ones that were damaged when they were removed. Not a big problem, but the instructions could have been a little clearer.
