ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, great for freezer work
I work in and out of a walk in freezer that stays at around -38 to -40 degrees. Normal shoes and boots were wearing down or literally becoming rigid and braking where the sole and upper connect. These not only haven't done that, but they actually keep my feet warm when I have to be in the freezers for more than 5 minutes. I have spent hundreds on finding a good work boot. This is it!
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, warm but not hot
I've worn a size 12 since I was a teenager, but I absolutely swim inside of a size 12 with this boot, even with a thick sock. I ordered an 11, and it fits much better. Still plenty of length, a little snug on the width near the toe, but not bad.
Got 5" of snow the day after I received these. Walked the dog for a mile or two in snow and ~20 degree F weather, light snow, some ice and the grip on these boots was very good. Never slipped once. But the real surprise was how warm! My hands were frozen to the point of being painful in spite of my wool mittens, but my feet never felt cold. Very rare for me. Further, they didn't feel hot. Just normal. That is great performance!
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
These boots are exactly as advertised, warm, comfortable, waterproof. The one issue I had is that they seem to run really big. I most often wear an 11 and once in a while need 10.5, but my feet swam in 11's. They were a solid inch too long and much too wide. The velcro straps could not even take up the slack. I traded the 11's I purchased for 10's and the 10's fit just fine. So, overall great boots, I just wanted to let folks know about the sizing.
