i purchased these boots and wore them for about two weeks while sno-sledding in central Maine. the temperatures ranged from 15degrees to 31degrees below zero and my feet were always warm and dry!
The boots hurt to wear and are hard to get into. The boots caused bruises on the back of my legs above my heels. The boots bend in there. I wore them the first year when we went snowmobiling and took them the second year, and had to rent boots because they hurt so much. This year I took them, put them on and immediatley took them off. Someone reminded me that LL Bean has the 100% satisfaction guarantee, so I will contact them to send them back. On the brighter side, I was forced to wear my LLBean insulated lodge boots, and they kept my feets warm and dry all day with just a liner and wool sock. I wore them from 8:00 am til 4:30 pm in 15 degrees, and my feet were never cold!
