I have purchased these socks for about 20 years and would not wear any other. I wear them year round and alternate between the 12" and 10", summer included. They keep my feet dry in all types of weather and keep my feet cool, even in summer. I recommend them to anyone who asks and will not purchase another brand. They also last a long time. Want a comfortable sock that you not regret purchasing? THIS is the one you want to buy. I still have four pair but will buying two more this week.
Bean' sizing chart says size L fits shoe size 9 - 12. I wear size 10 shoes. Socks are too small -- even before washing. I regret not having read the negative reviews before ordering.
LLB should now send me these socks free since I have probably bought at least 20 pairs in last 5 years. Why so many? They develop holes in the heels after about 5 wearings. No exaggeration here. But otherwise I love the socks since they are comfortable and adapt to the weather--warm in winter and not hot in summer. I am allergic to wool but these do not itch; well maybe a little before the first washing. But DO NOT place them in the dryer. They will shrink 20 % or more. So what to do? Just put the cost in my budget, unless LLB comes through for me. Thank you.
My college age son is in the "not wearing cloths my parents buying me" stage and was been for some time. Nevertheless, he wears holes in these socks. I been wearing them for years and buying them for them since he could fit in them. They are very comfortable, warm and great quality. Perfect for kids that stomp are campus in the snow wearing tennis shoe. lol
