My son always asks me to purchase these socks for him for Christmas. They are dependably warm and durable. The quality of these socks is unbelievable, as they see the washer every week and much wear and tear before they get there! LLBean is known for their quality products. These socks are just one of those products!

Very thick and warm. Perfect for the winter. Probably would be too warm in moderate temperatures. Not itchy at all even though they're wool.
My only issue is I wish they were a little snugger at the tops, I occasionally have to pull them up. (Got the L and I wear a 12 shoe.)
