Very thick and very warm, but scratchy. I was wanting something to wear with casual shoes, but these are more the sort of socks I would wear with heavy winter boots. In fact they are a little too thick to wear with my everyday shoes.

I have had my original pair of Wool Blend sock for years and even though they have not worn out, I received a new pair for Christmas. I was very pleased to see that they now have some stretch. What a great improvement on an already good product. I love these socks and give them as gifts each Christmas.
