I can't say enough about these socks. I used to put them on my Christmas wish list and now I can't wait for Christmas and buy them for myself. I've tried all kinds of socks and these are the only ones that actually keep my feet warm. They are sturdy, comfortable, and the quality hasn't changed. They are on the thick side, but that means more cushion. I Love THESE socks!

I've been wearing these socks paired with the LL Bean 8" boots. They do the job, keep you warm, and relatively dry. My only qualm is these socks tend to make my feet sweat slightly(Which is very typical for wool fabric in general), or more accurately, retains the moisture.
I've been too lazy, but if you pair these socks with some nylon or silk socks, or bought some wicking socks, they would be perfect and there would be no moisture issues

I bought a couple pair to give as gifts to my sons and since we've worn them for years, we know they'll fit right, be comfortable in all weather and will last. And the shipping was free.
These socks are awesome. They are a little itchy, but I rarely even notice anymore. What I do notice is that my feet aren't cold anymore, even up here in the Yukon!
