ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This is the first time I have purchased the socks and they are just wonderful. They are so warm. I washed them in cold water and did not put in dryer and they stayed true to size. They are so soft for wool and comfortable.
Somethings gone wrong, I bought these last year as I had in the past and I can't wear them any longer. They haven't worn out, they just got smaller and feel different. Also they a stiff and hard to put on and take off. The wool socks from 3-5 years ago where wonderful, these are NG...
I have worn this type of sock for at least 20 years. I am very dissappointed with my last purchase. The ratio of wool, nylon and lycra has been changed. After washing they are no longer soft - they are stiff, tight and uncomfortable. I never put them in a dryer. I have done nothing different to the socks as I have done with my other pairs over the years. I can only assume that the change in fabric is the culprit. I will not be buying these socks anymore from LLBean.
