These socks are OK. They are pretty good for the money. They will wear out on you but I keep buying them because for the price you can't beat them. The size XL is really not long enough for my size 15 foot but I just give them a stretch and they do fine.

I love rag socks, and I have found that these are the best. They are great for keeping feet warm and dry when outdoors in winter weather or for lounging on cold nites. I am purchasing more this season as stocking stuffers/
Many years ago these socks were almost 100% wool. Those were the days. Then they switched to the style just before these socks. I still have two unopened pairs from about 8 years ago and they have 25% more wool than these current socks. These socks have also shrunk in size by about 15%. They no longer keep my feet warm and are too thin for my Birkenstocks. I will be looking elsewhere for the socks LL BEAN once sold but no longer do.
