I live in the South so we don't get snowy winters, but we do get damp winters, which sometimes makes it seem a lot colder than it actually is outside. I am cold-natured and always wear thick socks in the winter. These socks are so comfortable and even though it's not winter yet, I can tell they'll keep my feet very warm and toasty. I bought them to go with my new LL Bean Gumshoe boots, but I have several other boots I'll be wearing them with as well. I will definitely be ordering more of these. They are a little pricey, but look like they'll last a while.

The good old fashioned LL Bean ragg socks are the best out there, and as far as I'm concerned can't be improved upon. I've worn them for years and have always felt this way. I've tried other socks from major chains and they just don't measure up. After one wash they don't fit anymore. The ragg socks last and last, stay flexible and don't shrink after repeated washings. They're warm and comfortable too.
