Strange. Purchased two pairs of socks. One sock from each pair has a large knot in the toe seam that is uncomfortable regardless of how I twist and turn the sock.
Wool-Blend Ragg Socks are great. At first I thought they were to thick, but they are not, they work well with my shoes and slippers. No more cold feet for me.
I got these socks for Christmas and they are going right back. I have several older pairs of these socks and absolutely love them. Unfortunately these socks are terrible. The seems on the toes are probably the absolute worst things I have ever had on my feet. I wore them once and hoped that they would work themselves in...but no chance...they are terrible. Also the material they are made of feels very cheap...not the quality that I am used to from beans. Don't buy them if you want your feet to be comfortable.
I wear these socks on cold days to pad around my carpeted house. I can only get a winter out of a pair as by the second winter holes are wearing into the heels. While they are certainly warm, they do NOT hold up well AT all. I started out with 10 pairs and am down to just a few now that are mismatched with "survivors." I need more wool socks but I won't be buying them here anymore.
