These socks will be great next winter. They seem very heavy and warm and I will enjoy wearing them in the sub-zero temperatures we have in central NY. They are very good quality, well worth the price.
i bought several pairs of these socks. i noticed by the second - third time wearing them, they got holes in them. big holes in the toe and heel. when i wore them with boots the holes developed faster. i would not recommend these to any one. not even my worst enemy.
I love these socks; great for Maine winters. Some days I wear them instead of slippers, and my feet never get cold. I'll be stocking up with several new pairs next winter, though I won't need to... these things are durable and my first few pairs have lasted a couple years already, with no sign of wear yet!
