Wore these socks, two pair, over a 6 week period and each has a hole in the heel. Each sock was worn about two days a week usually when wearing Mucks. I have worn other Bean socks for years without a problem.
I have owned a pair of these wonderful socks for over seven years. Still no holes in the heels! I had coupons to redeem, so I ordered new ones. I was afraid they would not be the same, but they are as good as the old. They are soft, hold up well at the top without stretching or cutting off circulation, wash and machine or line dry like a charm. If there is a tiny bump at the toe, as mentioned in another review, I just reposition slightly, and never notice it again all day. My household is trying to support American jobs, so imagine my delight to receive the socks with "made in USA" labels. Now these socks are perfect!
My husband and I have just tried these socks and love them. After having had frost bite many years ago, these are the only ones that keep my feet warm. Thank You!
