I was absolutely delighted with my experience from start to finish. I love the socks--my feet are finally warm and I was surprised that they arrived so quickly and exactly when they were scheduled. I have always been happy with LL Bean and this experience reinforced my satisfaction.
I am so sick of socks that wear out and don't keep you warm. These socks are thick enough for warmth, but not too thick to make your boots tight. And I can walk around my house in them without worring they will wear through with holes. And the term "rag socks" is a misnomer, IMO - they are VERY attractive.
I couldn't find wool socks in Hawaii so I immediately looked online at LLBean because I have been so pleased with the quality of my previous purchases. My son just marched in the Inaugural Parade in Washington DC and wore these socks. He said they were comfortable, not at all itchy and kept him very warm. Thank you for another reliable product.
