I loved these socks, color, material, softness etc. BUT they do seem to run small. The ones I got were L and to fit up to a 12. I'm a 101/2 and my toes will be poking holes in them long before they are worn out.
I have worn this style of L L Bean wool socks for years and absolutely love them! They are heavy, warm & durable. They wash & dry beautifully. I recently ordered some new ones and discovered the wool is even softer and nicer now. I still wear the old socks that I purchased years ago too.
Would have rated the socks as a 3, but couldn't seem to make that section work. Loved the socks initially, they are warm and soft. However they don't wear very well, especially the heels. Quite expensive for something that only lasts a couple of months.
they are comfortable socks and seem to last, they are fairly warm but I have warmer socks and was hoping they would be a little thicker for waders or bean boots.
