I am not an outdoors type so I relied on all my darn toughs for jumping in and out of the car. I sure liked the cozy, cushy feeling on the one outing wearing these.
Good and warm, washed up great, nothing but praise for these socks. Got the combo pair of navy/red and ivory/taupe. They are very very nice. Now have 4 pairs of these socks and would certainly buy more! Great deal, especially when on sale! Thanks for another great item L.L. Bean!
I ordered Medium, based on L. L. Bean's recommendations. I wear a size 8 shoe. Medium is supposed to be appropriate for zip 5-9 shoe. The socks I received were much too small. I could barely get them on, and the heel does not correspond to my heel. I am confident that when I launder them (cold/cold, air dry) they will be even smaller L. L. Bean needs to revisit its sock size chart, and make it count in the real world, not some imagined one!

Finally Warm

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He always complains his feet are cold, especially at night. Since he has been slipping these on a bedtime he raves about how his feet are finally warm all night long. He is even afraid to wash them as he thinks they might change. I have to sneak them away to the laundry room now and then. He usually turns up his nose at wool because he thinks it is scratchy, but just loves these. Thank you L.L. Bean
