I bought some of these socks for my son for Christmas. After seeing how great they were I ordered some for myself. Now they are all I wear with boots. They are thick and super comfortable! Better than advertised!
I purchased these for my husband because I was fed up with cheap cotton socks that wore out in a few weeks. I LOVE THESE SOCKS. They are nice and thick and show no signs of wear after almost 3 months (he has 3 pair in rotation). Normally, any cotton socks would already be trashed by now. He is on his feet most of the day and is very hard on socks, but these have held up very well. I am now a complete wool sock convert! Only complaint is that one had a hole at the toe where the material was joined, but I darned it and now it's good as new.
I have had pairs of these socks last a decade. No more, unfortunately, since they started introducing the elastic a few years ago - now they wear through in a year or two.
Please allow a non-elastic option, as these socks are no longer the great value they once were!
The ragg socks are perfect for cold weather at home with slippers or boots. They're a bit thick but that's what makes them so wonderful. We've never had such warm feet in the coldest months of the year. The socks wash and dry nicely; becomming softer with use.
