I ordered these socks in early 2011, and I have no regrets about this purchase. In fact, I decided to order another pair recently. This time I didn't wait a while--I started wearing them immediately. I'm glad that they come in packages of two pairs. I also learned that I should turn these socks inside out before washing them. Well, they still launder quite well on the right side. Thanks, LL Bean for keeping these Ragg socks in your catalogs. They keep my feet toasty warm and do not itch, although they contain a bit of wool. I would certainly recommend purchasing these socks for anyone who lives in an area where snow and arctic temperatures persist.
I have been wearing my 30 yr. old socks from LL Bean, stitched up and all. The other day I saw in your catalog a pr. that looked exactly like my old ones (30 years ago). I almost fell off my chair. I ordered them asap and have been on cloud 9 ever since. We have stone flooring in our hose and sometimes it gets cold. I put the socks on and they are wonderful! I couldn't be more happier. The fit is perfect and the material is absolutely wonderful!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased these socks for my dad over the holidays and I must say they were a big hit. My dad likes them so much my mom had to beg to get them off of his feet to wash them. Good thing he had a January birthday, so needless to say, I bought him several more pairs to keep his feet happy and warm. Now my mom doesn’t have to fret about getting them in and out of the wash quickly with more pairs. They were worth every penny!
