Great sock for around the house and a great sock if you work in a warehouse. Not sure about a freezer warehouse, but a general warehouse during winter and maybe fall.
While the fit is a bit snug, these socks are better than I expected. There is no itch and none of the problems with 'ragg' socks of comparable cost. I can tell that with proper care they will be extremely long-wearing. I am more than pleased and will be ordering more.
Been buying the 12-inch socks in grey from LL Bean since the 80s...prefer this wool-blend as opposed to all wool as they stay true to size after washing. Great in cold weather and summer weather. Usually buy 5 packs at a time. Only socks worn except for those special occasions. Also, love not having to always be matching socks after washing.
If you want boot socks that are very warm, this is a good choice. They are very thick and will add a half-size to your foot, so choose them if you buy boots larger than your foot to make room for thick socks. Good for snow activities. If wool flannel makes you itchy, not good choice.
