My feet love these socks. After they arrived I wore them for two days straight. They are of thick wool (which initially worried me) and seemed a bit short (which also worried me), but they fit into my shoes fine and don't shrink when washed. I have had a chronic problem keeping my feet warm, even during the day. Somehow these socks keep my feet at an even, comfortable temperature all day--and night. I will buy more, and perhaps wear them all year long. Thank you.
I regret I must return the Ragg socks recently purchased from L. L. Bean because they have little cushion underneath the heal thus making them uncomfortable to wear. Using nylon rather than cotton is a poor substitution.

They fit well, did not shrink, and are a bargain for two pairs. Order another two pair of the same color and it will not matter if the "borrowers" take one for a while.
