I grew up wearing wool athletic socks. Loved them. Then they disappeared for years. It is good to have them available once again. Thes are a good value: easy care, comfortable, and long wearing. Thanks for stocking them.

LL Bean's ragg socks have become a habit for me. I gave a pair as a gift several years ago and it always shows up on a Christmas wish list. Best socks for winter boots bar none.

My husband is very pleased - these socks are warm, soft, with just-right thickness, get him through daily walking commutes in winter, and keep the feet protected all day long. Especially like the brown and indigo colors, they go well with khaki pants and blue jeans. Ordered 4 prs in all and they have been put to immediate use. Wash well on cold/like to air dry on rack. I wear a men's size 8-1/2 shoe, so in accordance with this sock's size chart information, I ordered 'Medium' Wool-Blend Ragg Socks. The fit was rather tight, but still usable. So then I ordered some more of these in size 'Large", and the fit is much better -- not too tight, not too loose. Now that I'm calibrated with these socks, I hope LLBean will warn us if they decide to adjust their size chart -- I will be buying again sometime in the future.
