Per the reviews I ordered up in size. I wear an 8 & ordered the x-large. They are a bit roomy but don't think I could wear the large. Mine did not shrink from washing or drying in the dryer. Looking forward to warm feet this winter.
I live in these socks daily and have loved them for over 20 years! The big problem is that the heel wears out quicker than it should, I wish LL Bean would reinforce or beef up the heel area.
Just received the socks today and I love them...perfect fit. The reviews I read prior to my purchase, helped significantly! The socks do run small. I wear a size 8-8 1/2 shoe and I ordered an XL sock and they sick perfectly.
