these socks are warm & comfy, thicker than I thought. waiting for boots to arrive to see how they fit with them. are working very good with other shoes. will buy more of them even tho I think their expensive.

Terrific Nearly All-Weather Socks

I've been buying these socks for years because they keep my feet warm in cold weather, and provide extra cushioning in not-so-cold weather.
Probably have about twenty pairs in grey because they unobtrusively blend in with jeans and other informal pants.
Not just for hiking or camping, these socks stand up to constant wear and tear from gym workouts and long walks. Can't recommend them enough!

Warm socks

I love these socks for winter. They are warm, do not itch, wash well (I air dry them), and are comfortable inside the LLBean zip mocs I also got this year.
