Each year my father requests a set of these for Christmas. Socks are a big deal to him as a result of years of arthritis and an ankle injury. These socks are winners!
These are very thick socks, which will work for me, but...be aware that the toe closure line is not what you would expect from LL Bean. It's bulky, and does tend to bother my toes. That said, I will still keep them, because warm feet are my priority here. They'll work nicely with my waders, cushioning my feet with their thickness and warmth. Steelhead fishing in April can get mighty cold in MI!
