Socks are as expected. Soft, warm, thick, and very comfortable. Bought the 12" size to where with my 8" Bean Boots. I cuff them over the top. It looks cute and also prevents the sock from slipping down the shoe as thinner socks sometimes have a tendency to do.

These have to be the best wool socks I have ever owned! I've had them for about 4 or 5 years now, and this year I decided to give them as gifts~ So, ALL my brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews are getting them this year. This may not sound exciting, but once they wear them, they'll think it's the best present ever!
