I bought these socks for my wife after she complained how hard it was to find all wool socks for women. She has not yet worn them but I am confident she will like them because she had bought me some a couple of years ago and I wear them to bed every night in the winter. She had been hand washing them and putting them on a form so they would kep their shape and I got tired of waiting for them to dry so just threw them in with everything else in both the washer and dryer and they held up well. They are great!

Perfect wool socks - do not shrink in dryer. Medium fits women's shoe size 6 to size 9. Why, or why does LL Bean.com not show these under a search for "women's wool socks"!?!?! They come up under "Mens socks."
Be aware that these are a fairly thick wool sock, so will not work with a tight-fitting shoe designed for very thin socks.
Anyway, if your feet are cold in winter, find these and buy them! I've owned some pairs for three years and they are still going strong.
