warm enough, but not what we thought. it was too short length wise. need to purchase the 12" to wear in cold weather for the east coast. 10" is too short.
i need a new source for wool socks. i wear them every day, every season for fifteen years. so anticipating the usual llbean quality, i tried these. very disapointed: they are at least one size too small, but i tried wearing them around the house. i have never had an itchier pair of socks. i sincerely doubt that these are merino, i suspect they are recycled wool. check with your vendor. i intend to continue to shop llbean. this is the first time i have been unhappy with my purchase.
