I love these socks. I have been buying them instead of slippers since they breath and your feet dont sweat. Last pair I had did develop big hole is sole and didnt last one season. I am trying them again because if they get holes again I will send them back using LLBeans super return policy. Dont think they will be scratchy or rough b/c they are wool. They are soft and comfy. My kids borrow my socks when they are sledding.
I ordered these merino wool socks as a gift for my husband. He is an avid hiker, and your socks are the ones he uses. These particular socks are a bit heavier than others we have ordered, but will work out well in the cooler weather.
