I have ordered in the past one of these for all of my family and even one for the car. I ordered the red one for my long time friend for this Christmas. Would recommend these throws for anyone that needs a light cover for watching TV, Etc.
The quality of this throw, in terms of pile, lightness, warmth and non-clinging, is without doubt far superior to the competition's. My only two complaints concern the Bean label, which is prominently sewn into the outer edge of the whipstitching and cannot be removed (hate labels!), and the fact that the colors become dingy after several washings, even without using fabric softener. I suppose the latter is due to the synthetic material itself - but still, I'd be much happier if the colors retained the same brilliancy as when the product was new.
This throw is wonderfully soft and keeps you very warm. I got it as a gift for my husband's grandmother who is always chilly. She loves it and uses it daily. After a year of daily use and frequent washing it still looks brand new.
I purchased this throw to use on my dog's bed for extra warmth and coziness during the winter. He loves it! As soon as I took it out of the package and put it on his bed, he ran over an curled up on it. It's generously sized and even though I wash it a couple of times per week, it still looks great. LLBean uses really top quality fleece, so even though this is a little pricier than discount-store fleece throws, it's well worth it because of the high quality and durability. I have a very happy puppy!
