I bought this shirt in Cobalt blue last year and loved the color, cut and V neck. However, the shirt shrank in length each time it was laundered. I do not dry the knits in a very hot dryer, but after about 5 washings, it's no longer wearable as it only comes to bottom of my ribs.
I don't understand why some batches/colors of the shirts are so different from others. Is the fabric from different parts of the world?
Will try again, but right now am loving the basic Bean Tees more than the Pima Cotton.
I've always loved LL Bean pima cotton shirts. However, I usually wear a medium and had to exchange for a small. Fabric and fit were good except that the sleeves were too long (the younger set style) and the V-Neck was much lower than the V-Necks I bought before the summer. I know a lot of people like these features, but I was hoping for consistency. Also wondered why this wasn't carried in the retail store near me so I could have tried it on.
The shirt was looser than expected. I should have gone down a size as it looks a little baggy. The fabric feels very soft, and silky. A smaller size , instead of my usual medium would have made it look better.
