My daughter and I have owned quite a few of these - in different colors, long-sleeve, short-sleeve - bought over the last few years. They go everywhere, pack well, wash like a dream and mix and match to dress up or down. We wouldn't be without them, ever!!!
I purchased this top in purple - lovely, saturated color. Very soft and comfortable. I love it, and will purchase in more colors. Also love the convenience of shopping at LL Bean online.
This fabric is fantastic - it holds its color washing after washing; it looks new and doesn't "ball-up" like some T-shirt tops do; it is tightly woven enough than even on a cold day it keeps me warm - which is unusual for such thin fabric. The only suggestions I would have is to have a slit on both sides of the bottom and would also appreciate a larger neck opening other than just the V or Crew Neck (too tight). My favorite T-shirt over Lands' End and all other mail order or in-store T's. And it can't be beat for the price.
