I have always worn these shirts in a size small, but when the new batch arrived, they were huge. I have exchanged them for the XS which I hope will fit.
Bean's T's are better than most--substantial material, not the often thin, wimpy stuff--but I wish there were more choices with a little spandex. Spandex looks smoother for longer without the obvious stretched-out ripples at the end of the day. A couple of years ago several styles were offered which I still have and would enjoy replenishing.
Wonderful feel and fabric. Nice fit, not too tight or too loose. I haven't yet washed mine, so can't comment on how it looks/fits after washing, hence could only give 4 stars.
At last count I have more than a dozen of these tops in a variety of colors and wear them all year round in combination with many different slacks and jackets. They wash beautifully and feel soft as a kitten's ear on the skin. My only complaint is that I've never seen a beige/tan/light brown top in this series, and I would like to own one.
